Continuing its long legacy as one of Orange County’s oldest, largest and most versatile venues for live entertainment and special events, The Yost has been an iconic landmark of Santa Ana’s vibrant downtown since 1912. With a capacity for up to 1000 standing guests and a history of hosting world-class musicians, international DJs, fashion shows and film premieres, there’s no other venue of its kind.

 

Newly renovated by 24 Carrots, Southern California’s most sought-after catering and events company, its historic roots and 20’s decor have been meticulously restored and modernized, with traditional touches to elevate the guest experience. Unique with a character all its own, The Yost provides a stunning stage for a wide range of events, from concerts and live performances to upscale weddings, social gatherings and corporate functions.

Spaces

The Patio


The patio is located on Spurgeon Promenade between Third and Fourth Streets under the iconic Yost marquee. The fenced outdoor patio space boasts customizable poster holders and a historic box office booth.

The Lobby


The historic grand lobby features mirrored chauffeured ceilings, chandeliers, and LED TV’s. A staircase provides convenient access to the 2nd-level loft space that overlooks the theater. Restrooms and a full kitchen are also located directly off the lobby.

The Theater


Open floor plan featuring original chandelier lighting, a tin ceiling, hardwood floors, exploded brick, acoustic curtained walls, built-in bar, and two furnished green rooms located behind the stage.  Includes a state-of-the-art AV system and a 12′ by 20′ LED TV wall.

The Loft


A private upstairs loft with accordion doors that open to the mezzanine. The versatile event space can be closed off for a private VIP experience or open to give guests a bird’s-eye view of the theater and main stage.

The Mezzanine


Connected to the private upstairs loft, the mezzanine features additional guest seating overlooking the main theater and stage.

All aspects of your event will be handled in-house by 24 Carrots, including the venue space, gourmet catering, bar service, rentals, and of course, our staff and signature service. You can expect impeccable service with no surprises — except the good kind!
